Who determines your future? Your boss? Your parents? Your environment? Your artificially constraining limitations? At any given time, I'm helping a couple of dozen individuals generate a personalized leadership development plan. With each leader, I work my way through the three steps identified in this article, “Three Simple Steps to Improvement.” I continue to be amazed at the progress I see in some clients. Their growth pleases them, of course (and their bosses and customers!). I just marvel at the amazing capabilities that are possible in people when they learn how to reflect on what they've been doing and consider different approaches. |
