I had the privilege late last week to address a room full of college professors from across America.
I suggested that these educators seek a more active role in coaching their students, and I offered some thoughts about coaching and about leadership.
This week's newspaper article, "Nobody Wants to Admit They Need Coaching," grew out of a question from one of the professors: "Do students really want to be coached?" Over the weekend I pondered the bigger question: "Does anyone really want to be coached?" Our human pride often stands in the way of the outstanding help that an outside observer and ally might offer.
Please give us your thoughts on this website. We are probably within a week of letting people know of its existence! Thanks!
